What we have found through experience (in working in all three of those areas) and are told first hand is that for small businesses consulting can feel big, heavy, expensive and lacks the practical application for small businesses. Training can enhance your knowledge and give you some tools, but it is often a moment in time and lacks the focus on implementation pull through. Coaching focuses on the individual person and professional development and is an ongoing process of discovery and enhancement (we can recommend some great executive coaches if this is applicable to you).
